We rode shotgun with Cars24 to acquaint their brand with the Australian market. The hero of our journey, Carl, was crafted with love to relate to Cars24 customers.
Cars24 wanted to appeal to tech-savvy younger millennials. Carl here was designed with this in mind, mirroring characteristics those customers could identify with—norm-core fashion sense, hipster beard, a touch dorky but cool in an endearing way.
Carl spoke to the camera in order to forge an instant connection with the viewer. This required lip-syncing and animating gestures to make Carl feel friendly and approachable.
